16 April 2024.

Nakhon Pathom, Thailand — Thai Poly Acrylic (TPA), represented by Dr. Surajin Tappanchai, Managing Director, and Mr. Thanawat Kulprasertrat,
HR and legal Manager, has contributed acrylic sheets, a product of the company, to kickstart a vocational training project at Nakhon Pathom Central Prison. The donation was received by Mr. Kanchai Chitchak, Senior Correctional Officer; Ms. Kruewan Boonyatananut, Director of Prisoner Development; Ms. Thipphaporn Preeprem, Director of Prisoner Welfare; Mr. Khwanchai Santipornapop, Commander of Nakhon Pathom Central Prison; Ms. Auttaya Aumnongpho, Nakhon Pathom Provincial Employment Officer; and Ms. Malai Masuk, Senior Labor Officer.
The initiative aims to enhance the skills of inmates through a contemporary acrylic craftsmanship program, preparing them for reintegration into the workforce upon release. In support of this initiative, Mr. Thanawat Kulprasertrat and his team conducted educational sessions and recreational activities at the Coordination and Employment Promotion Center (Care) within the prison's welfare department. These activities help alleviate the physical and mental stress of inmates, equipping them with continuous training to ensure a smooth transition into the labor market.
The ongoing efforts of Thai Poly Acrylic have significantly contributed to inmate employment promotion at Nakhon Pathom Central Prison. In recognition of their contributions, the company has been selected by the prison authorities to receive a commemorative pin from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. Dr. Surajin Tappanchai represented the company at this prestigious event to receive the pin from the royal highness during her private visit to inaugurate the library at Nakhon Pathom Central Prison.
